Winchester Mystery House

We all went to the Winchester Mystery House today.  This house has been in San Jose since the 1800's and I've never been to it.  It was owned by Sarah Winchester who started construction on the house in 1884 and continued, continuously, until her death in 1922.  She believed the continuous construction would please the spirits of those killed by the Winchester rifles.  There is the craziest stuff in this house.  She was obsessed with the number thirteen and it occurs all throughout the house.  There are doors that open to nowhere and cabinets that are only a half-inch deep.  If you're ever in San Jose, check it out!

You finally made it to the Winchester Mystery house. I saw the sign again driving up to Tahoe and thought of you.
